Welcome to the faculty of Life Sciences. It is the second largest faculty in University of the Punjab including one School, three Institutes, four Departments and three Centres. All education pertaining to Life Sciences is disseminated from this faculty. The Dean is responsible for all policy making within the faculty and all academic matters of the faculty are routed elsewhere through the Dean.
It is the most productive faculty with respect to research work and publications and the highest share of impact factor is contributed by this faculty. Most of the departments in this faculty have adequate research facilities but the School of Biological Sciences and Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology have world class research facilities. Most of the departments in this faculty have BS, MSc, MS/ MPhil and PhD programs catering a large a number of students within the University.
